Food Pantry…
¨ Food items available on an emergency basis.
¨ Must show proof of income and residency.
¨ Referrals preferred.
¨ Private food donations and food drive items appreciated from the community for stocking of food pantry.
Community Service Programming…
¨ An outreach program which identifies people in need of help, refers them to appropriate services, and provides a variety of self-help programs and opportunities.
¨ Available for everyone in Monroe, Perry and Randolph Counties who meets the Federal Income Guidelines.
¨ An outreach service that works with the individual and family in assuring that the proper services are provided.
¨ A program designed to improve incentives of service beneficiaries to move from dependency to self-sufficiency.
¨ Includes a Family and Community Development Program which helps families to become self-sufficient.
¨ Provides a Scholarship Program for four individuals each year.
¨ Provides an Economic Development Program to benefit low-income persons through employment.
¨ Includes a Loan Fund Program to enable small business expansion and subsequent employment of low-income persons.
¨ Provides emergency assistance for shelter, food, clothing, utilities, transportation, and pharmaceuticals.
